This destroyed cemetery is located on the old William Vanbuskirk property in Harrison Township. Mrs. Helen Shroyer told me about this cemetery that she used to see looking out her kitchen window. It was nearly destroyed in the 1930s by a tenant farmer. There were five stones remaining in 1984 when the cemetery was plowed over. Mrs. Shroyer made arrangements to have them taken to the Mechanicsburg cemetery. She gave me this list of burials taken from the remaining stones. This is a cemetery that was deeded to the Harrison Township Trustee in 1915.
