Nathan and Rebecca Livezey, in a deed, granted unto Thomas Livezey, Joseph Livezey and their grandchildren and their heirs, the Livezey cemetery on 30 May 1856, granted ¼ square acre to be used as a family burying ground, for the use of the Livezey family and their heirs, and to be used for no other purpose forever.
It is believed that Nathan and Rebecca Livezey are buried just north-east of here where their log cabin originally stood, over looking Little Blue river.
The burial grounds are well maintained by the local neighbors and the township trustee. It is in fairly good shape. There are a few stones that could use some repair and resetting. It is mowed regularly and well trimmed.
