Identity: Youth Arts Exhibition

Berkeley Unified School District Students, K-8
February 3 – March 20, 2011

Opening Reception: Thursday, February 10, 5:30-7:30pm

Students grades K-8 from Berkeley Unified School District present artwork based on the theme, IDENTITY. Each participating school will identify a head teacher/artist to curate student artwork selections around this theme; accompanying programs will include a day-long family art workshop and music/drama performances. Presented in conjunction with Youth Arts Festival: Berkeley High School at Kala Art Institute (opening March) and as part of Art IS Education month featuring special arts programming across the state in the month of March.
