We at the Lafayette United Methodist Church receive much of our news about the church from our newsletter, the "Tower Notes". With the slow pace of bulk mailing thwarting our efforts to keep our members informed, we decided to post the entire newsletter online. Please feel free to read it to find out when and where a particular event is being held, or just to find out a little more about the life of our church!

Unfortunately, these files can be large, usually on the order of 400-600K or so. What that means is that any of you with a dial-up connection may have to wait 3-5 minutes before the newsletter becomes visible (broadband is far quicker). But at least at that point you can print it out so you don't have to download it again.

One other option for the slightly more advanced computer user is to right-click one of the links above and choose 'Save Target As' to save the newsletter on your hard drive. Then you can open it and refer to it anytime you want, without having to print it.

The "Tower Notes" was created with Adobe Acrobat and is visible using the free Adobe Acrobat Reader. On the slim chance that Adobe Acrobat Reader is not already installed on your computer, click here to get it. We hope to see you at some of our upcoming events!
