RTMA Leading the Way to Business Success

THE NATIONAL ORGANIZATION
NTMA is a non-profit trade association, organized in 1943, which today represents approximately 1,675 firms and 65,000 jobs in the contract precision metal working industry. NTMA is recognized as the industry’s official voice with customers, government agencies and the public. Among NTMA’s major customer industries are automotive, appliance, aerospace, business machines, electronics, agricultural implements ordinance, transportation, environmental, construction equipment and nuclear.

MEMBERSHIP
Contract metalworking plants across the country—which provide tooling services make dies and molds, build special machines, offer precision machining and do the countless other intricate tasks which make up this vital industry—belong to NTMA. Companies range in size from one-man sole proprietorships to large companies up to 500 employees. The average member company has 20 employees.
