Memory Mapping Youth Art Workshop with Marcela Flórez

Calling young artists! Please join us for a creative workshop with Bay Area artist and FEATURE participant Marcela Flórez. Marcela will show us techniques for making art based on map-making, our memories and our sense of ourselves in the places where we have been.
Age suitability: 13-18*
* younger children admitted with parental supervision/participation

Fabric Manipulation workshop with Ealish Wilson
Saturday, February 22, 12-4pm
Learn a skill! The artist will teach us the smocking technique with printed textiles as a way to create sculptural form with fabric. This workshop is suitable for adults or high-school age students with an interest in sewing, free and open to the public.

Potato Poetics: Celebration of the Everyday and Travel to Unknown Parts, an Odd Sunday Dinner with Ann Schnake
Sunday, March 2, 5–7pm
Performance art, tapas, tents and cocktails: an unusual evening with Ann Schnake, performance artist Carmen Serber, and chef Sylvi Osborne Calierno, cooking from Barcelona to Berkeley.
All proceeds go to the performers in this event, admission TBA.
