These are the thirteen Children of the family of Amos and Matilda (Hadley) Stuart.
The Photo was taken In Chester, Wayne County ,Indiana on Sep 1883.
Because Matilda died on June 13th 1871 Amos Stuart is pictured here with his new wife Melissa Miles Stuart. She was 90 yeard old in 1922. At the death of Sarah A. Stuart Teas.

Moved with her husband and 13 children to Henry Co. Ind in the
late1850's.Died June 13, 1871 and is buried in Spiceland Friends
Cemetery.

Joseph Pearson and probably his second wife, Rebecca (Ratliff) Pearson (written in old photo album under these carte de visite size photographs taken by Wint Needham, Photographer, New Castle, Indiana.) Probably Joseph Pearson born November 7, 1816 in Wayne County, Indiana. He moved to Henry County in 1826 where he married Sarah Draper on October 26, 1836. Greenberry Farmer, son of Pleasant and Mary Lindsey Farmer, was born in Franklin County, Virginia on 25 June 1820. His parents moved to Wayne County, Indiana in 1830 and to Harrison Township, Henry County in 1836. Greenberry owned a 340-acre farm in the northwestern part of Harrison Township. He married Sarah Ann Keesling, daughter of John D. & Lina Keesling, in 1869. Their issue were: John Quincy, Dewitt C., Alvin V., Joseph W., and Cordia Farmer. Greenberry was a Republican, and he and Sarah Farmer were members of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
His parents are registered pioneers of Henry County. Pleasant Farmer was born in Botetourt County, Virginia in 1786. Mary Lindsey Farmer, daughter of William Lindsey and Martha Vinson Lindsey, was born in Franklin County, Virginia in 1794. The two were married in Franklin County, Virginia in 1815. Mary died in 1864. Their children, Greenberry’s siblings, were: Uriah, Sparrel, Perrio, Betsey (wife of John Kessling) and Delilah (wife of W.P. Williams). Pleasant Farmer was a Democrat, and he and Mary were members of the Christian Church. Pleasant and Mary Farmer are buried in the Old Keesling Cemetery near Mechanicsburg.
Greenberry Farmer is buried at the Mechanicsburg Cemetery, along with Uriah and Perrio Farmer.
