1) John Montgomery Huddleson donated the land for the Shiloh Cemetery and is buried there. This photo is of one of his sons--John Miller Huddleson. 1800-1878.
2) His son, is Robert Alexander Huddleson in the second photo, also buried there.

Robert Van Winkle, born to Jesse and Margaret Van Winkle, 1830, Madison County. Married Amanda Rader, 1853, school teacher and Disciples of Christ minister.
Served with 69th Indiana Infantry in every march and engagement including Vicksburg. Amanda died in June 1865 in Middletown, no known children.
Robert married Delilah (Swope) Yost in November 1865. They moved to Republic City, KS around 1871, then to Wallace City, KS in the late 1880s or early 1890s. Both died in Colorado Springs, CO. Amanda was George W Rader's sister.

Delilah Swope. Born to Michael and Ellender Swope, 1838, Henry County. Married William Yost and had at least four children.
William died during the war. Delilah married Robert Van Winkle in November 1865.

Her spouse was George Chapman Harrison born 18 Jun 1827 in Harrison, Iowa, died 1893 in Cronell, Hitchcock, Nebraska. Children: David, Mary E., Alice M., Leonard B., Amanda A., Rosalpha B., Lutheran M., Charlotte M., George A., and Florence L. all born in Iowa.

Phebe Marie Gibbs Hayes.
She was born 30 June 1846 at Knightstown, Henry County IN. Daughter of W. Gibbs and Sarah Walton Gibbs.
She married Adam Henry Hayes, (son of Thompson Hays and Nancy Hays) on 13 October 1864 at
Greensburg, Decatur County IN. They were married by Isaac S. White, JP. Shortly following their marriage, they departed for IA arriving in Maquoketa, Jackson County IA in Dec of 1864 where they settled and raised their family.
Their children were: Mary A. "Allie", George E., Oscar Day, Milo Walter, Louis Edward, Hattie & Ray Hayes.
Three children (names unknown) died in infancy.

William Beall and Rachel Covalt Beall. He was born in Henry County, IN 8-3-1832, died 8-21-1906 in Randolph County, Indiana, and is buried in the Economy Cemetery in Wayne County. He married on 12-8-1853 in Henry County, Indiana to Rachel Covalt, b. July 1833 in Brown County, Ohio, d. 10-29-1898, dt. of Jacob Covalt and Eleanor Wilkinson of Henry County, Indiana. William was the son of William S. Beall who died abt. 1836 in Henry County and Lydia Lane Beall

from 14th & Broad Street.
Guessing it is around Christmas time due to the laurels and decorations
on the building fronts on the left of the photo.
Does any one out there know anything about the arches over Broad Street
